Satch is a blue merle Border Collie born April 11, 2007. His sire is Ch. Agape Rhythm 'N Blues MX MXJ NF CGC TDI, a handsome blue merle from Bosiers Border Collies. I am extremely grateful to Julie Bosier for allowing me to breed Jinx to Skye.

Satch is kind, willing, outgoing, playful and sometimes silly. He will look for the nearest lap in order to avoid going back to his ex-pen. He figures if he's visiting, he shouldn't be crated: he's working! He is a wonderful therapy dog in all kinds of situations. We play at agility and conformation and sometimes get to do some herding for fun, but therapy dog work is our most serious pursuit. Satch is clear for CEA/CH/CL by parentage. TNS testing is pending as I am having Jinx tested to clear all of her puppies by parentage. Satch has DNA verified sire and dam, his hips are OFA EXCELLENT, and his elbows are normal.

He is available at stud to approved bitches with exemplary temperaments, sound conformation and structure, and extensive health clearances. Live breeding or shipped frozen semen available. Satch is an active therapy dog, and we have completed FEMA coursework for being called to disaster scenes as Disaster Stress Relief volunteers from Therapy Dogs International. He is accumulating MACH points and Double Q's in AKC agility, and we're having fun along the way.

November 26, 2011: Satch has finished his MXJ, has five MX legs, four double Q's and 76 MACH points :-) We don't get to show very often, but we'll inch our way up there..... What else will we learn on our way to a MACH? Whom will we meet and remember for great kindness?

Photo taken by Karen Van Hoy. Thank you for picking up
My friend Karen Van Hoy picked up my camera to photograph my dogs as I ran in agility. Satch recognized the particular sound of the camera shutter: "Hey, who's taking pictures with your camera if you're running me?"
my camera and photographing my dog!
These three agility images were taken by Csaba Illes at the Santa Maria AKC trials in August, 2011. Mark Upshaw was the judge; we love his courses and had a wonderful time at the trial. Thank you, Csaba, for photographing Satch! We will be pleased to see you at any trial.
These two photos taken by Patty Davis of Grand Images in Arizona. Thank you for photographing my dogs on a dark and gloomy day! It is a huge, huge gift to have images of my dogs, and I am truly grateful to the photographers who take the time and energy to come to trials. I know it's hard work and not all that lucrative!
